Älvsered Church

Externally, the panelled timber frame dating from 1838 is almost entirely preserved. The baptismal font is dated back the 13th century and is made
by the so-called Fagered’s master, working at the ”Funtaliden” quarry. The great bell is one of the country’s oldest church bells, which is still in use,
and bears a runic inscription from the 14t century.
